Attention red wine lovers! You’ve tried Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, and Zinfandel, but have you tasted Beaujoulais Cru?
That’s the wine that’s about to be put on the map by Orrey restaurant in Marylebone. Orrey will be hosting a Beaujoulais Cru wine tasting, a wonderful opportunity for fans of the more popular Beaujoulais Nouveau to discover something new.
Beaujoulais Cru is a French wine produced within the foothills of the Beaujoulais mountains, in regions where the production of Nouveau wine is forbidden. This fine wine is certainly worth a try, as it is darker and more full-bodied than its more famous counterpart.
On Thursday, November 10th, at 6:30pm, guests at the Orrey will be treated to a selection of wines carefully selected by the head sommelier and host, Shana Dilworth. Wines chosen will include some unusual rosé varieties, and will be served with flavor enhancing canapés from the kitchen.
Tickets for the wine tasting are £20, and can be booked by emailing ShanaD@danddlondon.com or calling 020 7314 4000. For more information, visit Orrey’s website.
