First Ever ‘Free From’ Food Festival

Looking for foods that are free from gluten, wheat or dairy? Whether you are dealing with your own pesky food intolerances, or dreading that one, difficult relative coming to dinner, there’s an event coming up that you won’t want to miss.

From November 25th  - 27th the Southbank Centre will be the site of the first ever food festival and market focusing solely on foods and drinks that are gluten, wheat, dairy, sugar and/or egg free – the ‘Free From’ Food Festival.

This free event will feature food specialists, visiting chefs, and the artisan producers who create the ‘free from’ products. These various companies and individuals will be selling their unique goods and giving demonstrations, talks and tastings to help consumers better understand the ‘free from’ world.

The festival promises to be a great opportunity for learning (of course) but it is also a great place to shop for whomever may be allergic/intolerant (intolerably allergic) to various staple foods. Many of the food producers attending the event will be selling seasonal products for the holidays, some of which can be given as gifts or made a part of Christmas dinner.

Look out for Wag Free, which will be selling a range of gluten-free Christmas products, and be sure to check out the delicious organic hot chocolate sold by Jaz and Jules.
