Like Beer? Like Cheese? Read On!

What could make spending a bitter Winter’s evening in a cosy pub sampling delicious Swiss cheese even better? … Beer – of course!

Schneider and Jumi Cheese have teamed together (and may we say – what a great, great team) to put on an informal beer and cheese tasting event on 28th November. What is not to like in that sentence?

The event, that will be taking place at The Bull in Highgate from 7-9pm, will offer interesting matches of beer and cheese devised by Schneider, prime traditionalists of wheat beer, and Jumi Cheese, a Swiss family-owned company. ‘Belper Knolle’ (dried cream cheese with Himalayan salt and garlic coated in black pepper) with Schneider’s iconic Weisse beer is just one of the many mouthwatering matches to try. Susanne Hecht from Schneider and Hansueli Preisig of Jumi Cheese will be on hand to chat through matches on a one-to-one basis with guests.

If the idea of salty, garlicky, black peppery, yummy cheese doesn’t already have you drooling then perhaps this will. Guests will have the opportunity to try Schneider’s Eisbock - a velvety, dark and murderously (at 12%!) fantastic beer, made by freezing Schneider Aventinus.
