A sophisticated new cocktail lounge will soon be opening in London, and we at BT are dying to try it out.
The new lounge, Archer Street, will be located on its namesake in Soho. Its design promises a stylish evening, bringing a new spirit of sophistication to the area. The two floors will contain comfortable lounging areas, complete with velvet sofas and black-button armchairs. The downstairs area will have a playful theme, with quirky mirrors and a long bar covered in steel panels, while the upstairs will be more refined, featuring large French windows and plush velvet barstools.
The waiters and bartenders at Archer Street will provide the entertainment, singing and dancing to add to the fun throughout the night. In addition, the lounge has created a calendar of themed evenings for guests to get in on the excitement.
As for the drinks (the most important part), Archer Street has devised a menu comprised of exclusive new cocktail creations. Their signature is the Dawa, Kenyan for “magic potion”, made with a combination of vodka, lime, honey and brown sugar. Another drink to try is Champagne in Yorkshire, a blend of gin, rhubarb liquor, syrup and Billecart-Salmon Champagne—the bar’s exclusive brand of bubbly.
Wine lovers will have a diverse list to choose from, and those looking for healthier cocktail alternatives will find plenty of options as well. The lounge will also be offering complimentary bites to its guests from 6pm to 7:30pm nightly, in the Italian tradition.
