Better known for it’s vibrant, club-like atmosphere post 9pm, where the after-dinner merrymakers and fashionable Londoners descend to enjoy stylish cocktails and Shochu tonics, Shochu Lounge is now also accumulating a hungry crowd on a Monday lunchtime.
With a relaxed and exclusive feel, this subterranean bar that resides beneath the bright and bustling Roka restaurant is the perfect place to escape for a sneaky middle-of-the-day Sake and a satisfyingly filling lunch of Ramen noodles. Shochu Lounge is now serving traditional Ramen every Monday for two hours (12pm-2pm) offering 2 variations.
Blue Tomato casually slipped away from the office last week to revel in the Ramen and sample the Sake, and became so comfortable on the low, red sofas under the moody lighting that we thought it was Friday and accidentally started ordering cocktails too. Oops.
