Royal China Revamp

After being open for business for 20 years and doing a roaring trade, popular dim sum restaurant Royal China Queensway is taking some much needed R&R – Revitalisation & Refurbishment.

The popular venue is currently undergoing a total renovation to ensure its appearance is keeping up with its fantastic menu. Similar to the Canary Wharf restaurant (which was refurbished in May), the new-look Queensway will boast 130 seats, with a stunning gold leaf ceiling, and feature an ornate, hand-painted Chinese mural with a modern take on the classic Royal China wave motif.

Diners will be seated in an elegant setting with crisp-white linen tablecloths and new crockery and glassware, whilst behind the scenes, the kitchen will be totally redesigned and installed with new high–tech equipment to better cook your pork dumplings.

Royal China Queensway is the oldest London restaurant in the prestigious Royal China collection, and is renowned for serving authentic Hong Kong Chinese cuisine. Best known for its seafood and traditional Cantonese mix of delicate flavour and texture, the new and improved restaurant is bound to still have its weekend lunchtime queues spilling out onto the streets when it reopens in November.
