Right, you’ve put off starting your New Year’s detox for far too long, time to get serious! But we’re not advising you to drink water and eat celery – what kind of friends would that make us? Instead, we are encouraging you to go for a good old Ruby Murray at The Cinnamon Club! That’s what friends are for.
The Cinnamon Club – the modern Indian restaurant from executive chef Vivek Singh and manned by head chef Rakesh Nair – is launching a ‘Spice-Detox Menu’ brimming with ingredients that naturally heal and preserve the body. Fancy that, just eat away your seasonal sins!
Running from 9th to 31st January, this utterly nutritious, absolutely delicious menu will have you naughty overindulged diners back on track in no time. Incorporated into the dedicated detox menu are ingredients such as fenugreek – known to reduce blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels; saffron – which has anti-carcinogenic properties and has been claimed to increase libido (see you there), and lemon grass – an effective cure for coughs and colds. Great for combating the January blues as the winter cold takes hold! (We’re thinking of moving in.)
